Telestream
MyInsideGamer is one of the only gaming sites that produces live gaming streams and podcast broadcasts. Yes, streaming over the Internet is cool, but it’s equally as hard. It demolishes Internet bandwidth, requires online space and is time consuming. Telestream partnered with us to offer us a programme called Wirecast. This programme is essentially a broadcasting station in a window. Pleasant Software
As mentioned above, we currently produce a gaming podcast exclusively to MyInsideGamer. Due to the large growth in the site, we really don’t have time to record the podcast with complicated programmes and then spend hours on post-production to make the podcast as good as it needs to be. Instead, we use Pleasant Software’s podcasting programme called Ubercaster. Ubercaster allows us to add notes, show scripts and sound bites right into an easy to manage interface. Simply put, it requires no (or very minimal) post-production and to put the cherry on the cake, has built-in FTP. This basically means a podcast that would take at least five hours to prepare, record, master and upload can be done in an 8th of that time with this amazing piece of audio software.

Daystar Technology
When we wanted to produce a live gaming stream to expand MyInsideGamer’s horizons, we were lost. We didn’t know where to begin, what to use and how to execute our goal. That’s when we contacted Daystar, and asked a few questions about their USB capture cards. They then saw potential in the site and offered to send us some capture cards for use with the stream, along with some tutorials and guides. We owe a big thank you to Daystar Technology as we wouldn’t be where were are now without them.
